She was born Nov. 8, 1939, in Peoria to Edward A. and Relva L. (Canada) Baer. She married Gerald F. "Jerry" LaFeber on July 4, 1959, in Peoria Heights. He passed away May 23, 2007, in Peoria Heights.

Donna held several positions at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She last worked in Parking Services and retired in 2005 after 20 years of service.

Mom enjoyed spending time in Naperville and going to Chicago for White Sox games and Broadway plays.
