PRINCEVILLE - Maryln E. Rosenbalm, 80, of Princeville passed away at 2:27 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Proctor in Peoria.
Maryln was born March 27, 1934, in Henderson County, Ill., the daughter of Roy and Beulah Walker Gittings. She married Duane E. Rosenbalm on Aug. 5, 1955, in Lomax. He died April 19, 1998, in Peoria.
Surviving are her children, Sam "Roy" (Chris) Lant of Pontiac, David (Anna) Lant of Princeville, James Rosenbalm of Wyoming, Debbie (Steve) Spencer of LaFayette and Judy Blumenstock of Wenona; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, one sister and one granddaughter preceded her in death.
Maryln was a meat wrapper for Eagle Food Stores for many years before retiring in 1991.
She was an avid seamstress and quilter. She was a member of the Stark County Quilt Club and LaFayette United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today, July 27, 2014, at Haskell-Hott Funeral Homes in Princeville. The Rev. Tim Delaney will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services, and burial of ashes will be in Asbury Cemetery in Roseville at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LaFayette United Methodist Church.
