WASHINGTON - Clarence E. Driver Jr., 49, of Washington passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at his residence.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1964, in Peoria, the son of Clarence and Hazel Zierke Driver.
Surviving are his three children, Mary Driver, Stacy Driver and Eddie Driver, all of Peoria. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jerry Humes and Harmonie Driver; three sisters, Ruth (Rich) Phillips of Morton, Ill., Gail (Zig) Zuniga of California and Mary Burtsfield of Washington; and two brothers, Mark Driver of Washington and David Driver of Florida.
One daughter, Shannon Driver, preceded him in death in 1991.
He was a chef for Jim's Steakhouse for 32 years, last working on Thursday.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Clarence's life will be held at a later date.
