PEORIA - Lindsay Clayton, 27, of Bluff City, Kan., a homemaker and the wife of a former Peoria resident, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.
She was born the daughter of Mike and LuAnn (Volavka) Netahla on June 14, 1984, in Wellington, Kan. Lindsay is a 2003 graduate of Caldwell High School in Kansas.
Lindsay Nethala and Gerald Clayton, formerly of Peoria, Ill., were married Nov. 13, 2010, in Caldwell, Kan.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald of Bluff City, Kan.; parents, Mike and LuAnn Netahla of Caldwell, Kan.; brother, Nathan Netahla of Caldwell, Kan.; and grandparents, Shirley Volavka of Caldwell, Kan., and Virginia Bradley of Anthony, Kan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Jan. 6, 2012, at the United Methodist Church in Caldwell, Kan. Interment will be in the Czechoslovakian Cemetery in Caldwell, Kan.
Memorials may be given in memory of Lindsay to the Kansas Humane Society or to the SHARE Foundation for a memorial bench on Main Street.
