PEORIA - Doris Ann Kimbrough, 55, of Peoria, Ill., passed away at 2:46 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Doris Ann was born Aug. 14, 1957, in Peoria to Daisy Mae Kimbrough and William Clark Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Daisy Mae (George) Johnson; three daughters, Davina (Rev. Andre'ic) Morris, Danita Duncan and Whitney Day, all of Peoria; six brothers, John (Emma) Brown, Marvin Brown, Lonnie (Latoya) Kimbrough, Edward and James Kimbrough, all of Peoria, and Eugene Gill of Flint, Mich.; six sisters, Courtney Smith and Teania Johnson, both of Peoria, Earline (David) Jones of Lexington, Ky., Sherry Clark of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Bertina Gill and Delisa Thames, both of Peoria; and 11 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father; two husbands; one brother, Anthony Clark; and one sister, Joyce Kimbrough.
Doris Ann was a 1976 graduate of Manual High School. She attended Illinois Central College, studying nursing.
Doris Ann was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church, where she served in the singles ministry and choir secretary.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Grace Baptist Church, with a visitation one hour prior beginning at 9 a.m. Pastor Jeffery Ivory Sr., and Rev. Leon Gatlin will officiate. Doris Ann will be laid to rest in Lutheran Cemetery.
