KNOXVILLE - Patricia C. Wolford, age 64, of Knoxville, Ill., died at 3:16 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, surrounded by her family at her daughter's home in Bradford, Ill.
She was born July 16, 1948, in Galesburg, Ill., the daughter of George L. Waugh Sr. and Madeline Rood Waugh.
She attended and graduated from Abingdon High School in Abingdon, Ill.
She married Larry Robin Wolford on July 17, 1966, in Abingdon, Ill. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2008.
Surviving are her children, Tiffany Wall of Bradford, Ill., and Troy (Teona) Wolford of Galesburg, Ill.; five grandchildren, Emily Wall, Abby Wall and Natalie Wall, and Brandon Wolford and Macy Wolford; and one brother, Mick (Terry) Waugh of Kewanee, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, George Waugh.
She became a registered nurse, graduating from Carl Sandburg College in 1986.
She worked as a registered nurse at OSF St. Mary's Medical Center in Galesburg, Ill., and at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville, Ill., and served on the church council and other committees.
She was a devoted grandmother, enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets, was an avid reader and liked to sew and quilt.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville, Ill. The Rev. Michel D. Clark and Pastor Amy Holman will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Compassus or the family.
