He loved his wife, Iola, dearly. He enjoyed doing little things for her to show how much he loved her, this past Valentine's Day he surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses. Tom enjoyed working in the garden. He looked forward to visiting with his family during the holidays and on special occasions. During those times he especially enjoyed handing out candy to his grandchildren, and of course always held back a few pieces for himself.
