PEKIN - Frederick "Randy" Ladendorf, 61, of Pekin passed away at 12:25 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Morton Terrace.

Randy was born on Nov. 11, 1951, in Peoria, Ill., to Frederick and Willamae (Meinders) Ladendorf. He married Aprille Moore on Nov. 28, 1970, in East Peoria, Ill.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Surviving are his wife, Aprille of Pekin; his mother, Willamae Ladendorf of Washington, Ill.; two sons, Adam (Julie) Ladendorf of Goodfield, Ill., and Ryan (Missy) Ladendorf of Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Heather (Scott) Young of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Maison, Lily and Jaxon Ladendorf, Kiersten Lucas, Emily and Leah Young; three stepgrandchildren, Blake, Amber and Courtney Sanders; and one sister, Beth (Dennis) Doolan of Washington, Ill.

Randy was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the First Missionary Church in North Pekin, where he had served as a trustee and usher. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, camping, snow skiing and dart ball.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the First Missionary Church, 124 Lincoln Blvd. North Pekin, IL, with the Rev. Tony Darr officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 5, at the church. Burial of the cremated remains will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at War Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Pekin with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
