PEORIA - Consuelo Wren, 92, of Decatur, formerly of Peoria, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Mason Point in Sullivan.
She was born April 26, 1921, in Mexico, the daughter of Michael and Juanita Hernandez.
She was previously employed as a stenographer.
She married Albert Wren on Aug. 19, 1949. He preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, George, Robert and Rathael Hernandez.
She leaves behind her brothers, Louie Alcaraz and wife Jene of East Peoria, Henry Hernandez of Dunlap and Ed Hernandez of California. Connie was a loving sister and aunt and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services to celebrate her life will be at 1 p.m. today, Oct. 10, 2013, at Parkview Cemetery, 2001 N. University St. in Peoria. The family of Consuelo Wren is being served by Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe St., Decatur, Ill.
