Murliene,
So sorry to hear of Del's passing.
He and I shared much over my 32 yrs at CAT.
He was at the top of my list of people with the technical competence to really move CAT forward in the Engineering world. We also shared many political and philosophical views.
I remember our discussions fondly.
I hope he didn't suffer.
I will remember him always and talk about him with fellow co-workers often.

Dear Murllene,
My sister Nancy informed me today of Del's passing, I was shocked to learn of it and am sorry for your loss and wanted to pass along Donna's and my condolences.
The miles between us seemed to limit our closeness, but I take comfort in knowing that Del was close to my Mom and Dad when they were living and I know they thought quite highly of him and I am sure the reverse was true. I have pleasant memories of times with him on the basketball court and during our high school and college years.
Please know we are thinking about you and your family.
Love,
Donna and Bill Swanson

Mrs Kramer -
I was very sad to hear of your husbands passing. I remember him at the summer concerts. He always had such a quiet humble smile and you could tell how proud he was of you. My thoughts are with you at this time. I know he will be greatly missed by the family but also by those of us who have become so accustomed to his gentle presence at the band concerts. There will need to be a special concert in his honor this coming summer!
