BARTONVILLE - Shirley Jean Zachman, 83, of Bartonville, Ill., passed away at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born March 22, 1930, in Bartonville to Harry and Opal (Batterton) Goodin. She married Clyde Zachman on Oct. 16, 1949, in Bartonville.
He survives along with their son, David Zachman of Peoria; grandson, Jim (Tammy) Zachman of Marquette Heights; great-grandchildren, Drew and Shawn; brother, Don (Sandy) Goodin of Pekin; and sister, Darlene (Richard) Reno of Pekin.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three brothers, Robert, William and Gerald; and two sisters, Joyce Griffith and Judy Clark.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Services will be Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, where visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Rev. Dave Utt will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
