Julia Tipton Obituary
PEORIA - Julia Ann Tipton, 80, of Peoria passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born in Peoria to Leo and Violet Heath Cage on May 26, 1936. She married Henry J. Tipton Jr. He passed away in 2011.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Tim; daughter-in-law, Denise; her sister; and 2 grandchildren.
Julia is survived by her children, Steve (Cheryl) Tipton, Roberta (Bill) Magnus and Henry (Debra) Tipton; daughters-in-law, Sheri Tipton and Jackie Hudnall; and her 45 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was of the Christian faith.
Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community Worship Center, 121 State St., East Peoria. Pastor Larry Cravens will officiate.
The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co., Pekin/Peoria, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at csmico.com.

So sorry to hear about your mom. It seemed like I had just talked to her. Sorry I was unable to attend if I had known I would of went and saw her. It happened so fast and sure will miss talking to her. Also sorry for your Aunt Nancy Blackmore.

Judy, I have said for many years that I did not know what I would have done without you when I was a teenager and having kids. I often think about sitting at your kitchen table drinking coffee and having conversations. I so miss those days! Thoughts and prayers to all of kids, we all grew up together!!
