PLAIN CITY - Nora Jane Moore, 85, of Plain City, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Arbors West, West Jefferson. Born Nov. 24, 1930 in Lawrence County, Kentucky. Nora Jane was a stay at home mom for her 9 children and was a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, Sharon and Eplura (Collier) Hay; son, Glenn Ratcliff; brothers, Willie Hay, Luther Hay, Wallace Hay, Arthur Hay, Dennis Hay and Thomas Hay; sisters, infant Irene Hay, Sarah Lemaster and Zora Vanover; faithful companion, Studly. Survived by children, Sharon (Lee) Green, Willie (Saundra) Ratcliff, Walter (Myra) Moore Jr., Pamela (Jack) Erhardt, Carvenia (Kenny) Mollett, Wanda (Keith) Stowers, Rose (Nick) Adams, Liz (Jim) Troyer; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, Sonya, Mitzi, Ricky, Seth, Nethanial, Brittany, Mick, Stephen, Jamen, Mike, Amy, Amber, Gordon, Nicky, Kenny, Debbie, Diamond, Heather, Kimberly, Ashley, Victoria, Virginia, Vanessa, Johnna, Aubrie, Audrie, Michael, Andy, Austin, Brayden, Ricky, Corey, Daniel, Preston, Rory, Lyra, Isabell, Ben, Madison, Nicholas, Avery, Jake, Hanna, Landon, Madelynn, Hayden, Sadie, Kenzie, Blakely, T.J., Preston, Kirkland, Samone and Jake; sister, Tressie Corsi. The funeral was held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (State Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the family received friends 1 hour prior to the service 10-11 a.m. Pastor Ronald Cox officiated and burial Big Darby Cemetery, Plain City. VENRICK, CARY J.  
PLAIN CITY - Cary J. Venrick, 72, of Plain City, passed away Sunday morning, May 29, 2016 at Heartland of Marysville. Born Feb. 12, 1944 in Plain City. Cary worked at Scott Seed Company in Marysville for over 30 years. In retirement, he took great joy in riding around in his jeep and checking on his son, daughter-in-law and grandkids. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and June (Boyer) Venrick; stepmother, Georgia (Shively) VanHoose Gardner Venrick. Survived by his son, Chris (Destiny) Venrick of Plain City; grandchildren, Lane, Cadence, Landon and Izabella; sisters, Donna (Paul) Gibson of Plain City, Linda (Jim) Ulmer of Marysville. Graveside service 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, with his niece Rev. Beth Clothier officiating.
