Donald L. Syphrit, born Sept. 8, 1937 in Brookville, Pa. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013.
Retired from Adria Labs and owned and operated Syphrit Rental Properties for 37 years.
Donald loved spending time on Indian Lake, loved old cars, playing on his Kubota tractor and spending time with his friends and family.
Preceded in death by parents, Donald Glenn and Effie (Murray) Syphrit; first wife, Hazel (Meaige) Syphrit on 1976; brother, Tom Syphrit; sister, Jeannie Will.
Survived by wife, Pearl A. (Johnson) Syphrit whom he married Feb. 23, 2000; sons, Donnie (Rebecca) Syphrit, Joe (Tracey) Syphrit, Gerry (Alanna) Whitaker; daughters, Debbie (Clyde) Myers, Mary (Darin) Waldeck, Anna (Tim) Foulk; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, John (Carol) Syphrit; sisters, Doris (Andy) Wyatt, Nellie Uplinger, Elsie Romus, Etta (Joe) Felici.
The family received friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for next Spring. Date will be announced.
