Johnathon Douglas Miller, 8, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Born Feb. 14, 2005 in Overland Park, Kansas.
Attended and enjoyed learning at Plain City Elementary School. Johnathon loved school and going to the Columbus Zoo and COSI to explore. He enjoyed going camping, swimming with his family. He liked to go golfing and played football and basketball. He also used his imagination with drawing and building things along with playing on the Ipad and computer. He enjoyed listening to the beats of rock 'n' roll.
Johnathon was very loving and the best big brother to his brothers and sisters.
Survived by his loving parents, Robert Douglas and Charissa Kay (Barber) Miller; siblings, Kailey Miller, Thomas Miller, Lilly Miller, Andrew Miller, Amelia Johanna Miller to be born Sept. 2, 2013; fraternal grandparents, John and Alice Miller; maternal grandparents, Mike and Terri Barber; aunts and uncles, Samantha Barber, Mike Barber Jr., Edward Fritz, Michelle Sharp, Angela Matson; numerous cousins; great-uncles and aunts, Geoffrey and Debbie Heller, Raymond and Mary France, Kim Rupert.
The family received friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013. Pastor Mike Coates officiated.
In lieu of flowers to honor Johnathon's memory, donations may be made to The Miller Family for the proceeds to be given to Plain City Elementary School to help maintain the playground.
