Richard Andrew "Dick" Watson, 67, of Plain City, passed away Friday morning, Aug. 23, 2013 at his residence.
Born Dec. 1, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio.
Dick was an avid NASCAR fan, expert gardener and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, David K. and Marjorie (McKinley) Watson; brother, Steven Watson.
Survived by wife, Delana (Keaton) Watson whom he married July 4, 1992; children, Dawn (Craig) Alexander, Heath (Terry) Poulson, Edward Bowling; nine loving grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Helen) Watson, David Watson, Ralph Watson; sisters, Mary Ann (William) Eckhart, Patricia (Paul) Frye, Jean (Ronald) Newland, Karon (James) Kaufman, Sharon Newell.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. Pastors Debra Boggs and Jerry Sparks will be officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
