BETTY RUTH CALDWELL
PLAIN CITY - Betty Ruth Caldwell, 87, of Marysville, died Monday evening, June 16, 2014 at the Gables at Green Pastures.
Born May 21, 1927 in Jeffersonville, Ohio.
Fun loving, jovial and spirited mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and friends playing euchre, watching the Indians, Cavaliers and the Reds.
Preceded in death by her parents, Reuben W. and Elsie L. (Willis) Rader; former husband, Doc Jr. Caldwell in 1994; brothers, Jim Rader and Harold Rader; sister, Margaret Chamberlain.
Survived by fun loving, jovial and spirited children, Dick (Karen) Williamson of Marysville, Larry Caldwell of Marysville, Linda (Steve) Anderson of Marysville, Lesa (Mike) Seely of Plain City, Tony (Tressia) Caldwell of West Jefferson; grandchildren, Chad, Lyndsay, Meg, Shawn (Shania) Caldwell, Kyle Caldwell, Sherrie, Danielle, Tracy Parmentor, Mike Wampler, Tim (Tiffany) Wampler, Lesa (Dave) Preston, Sean Seely, Jason Seely, Jason (Stephanie) Caldwell, Kristy Caldwell; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; sisters, Dorothy Shumway of Plain City and Mary Alice Hubley of Piqua; many special nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014. Pastor Phil Conrad officiated. Burial was at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.
