Mary Ella (Hay) Kitchen, 66, of Plain City, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at her home.
She was born March 2, 1946, in Elliott County, Kentucky.
She was a wonderful domestic engineer, catering to all the needs of her boys throughout her 47 years of marriage.
Preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Rilda Mae (Kelly) Hay; son, Rodney Lee Kitchen in 1994; brothers, Paul Hay, Raymond Hay and Ralph D. Hay; sisters, Beulah Eileen Hay and Clotine Phillips.
Survived by loving husband, Ronald Lee Kitchen, whom she married June 19, 1965; son, David Michael Kitchen; granddaughter, Katie Marie Kitchen; sisters, Doris Holbrook, Lois (George Raymond) Carter, Loretta Carter, Alma Boyd, Velma Ross and Beverly Lewis; sister-in-law, Linda Hay.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (state Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012. Rev. George Raymond Carter officiated. Burial was at Forest Grove Cemetery.
