PLAIN CITY - James H. Estep, 87, of Plain City, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Kobacker House.
Born April 13, 1928 in Delaware, Ohio.
He loved family dinners and the time he spent with the family playing cards, Uno and putt-putt.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Bessie Estep; brothers, Walter Estep, Robert Estep, William Estep; and his beloved dog, Scruffy.
James is survived by his loving wife, Sandra L. (Houser) Estep; daughters, Kellie (Michael) Petry, Shellie (Michael) Huff; grandchildren, Adam Hall, Lauren (Austin) Schlosser, Ryan (Kayla) Huff, Brandon Hall, Victoria Petry, McKenna Huff, Madison Petry; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Hall, Julian Killian, Camden Schlosser and baby Huff on the way; nephews, Walter Jr. "Kicker" Estep, William "Billy" Estep; niece, Edna Francis Estep.
The family will receive friends 3-6 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (State Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015. Pastor Ed Hunt officiating. Burial Forest Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Shellie Huff Cancer Fund at Richwood Bank.
