Mavis Ellen Bricker

(October 17, 1946 - April 8, 2010)
Mavis Ellen Bricker, age 63, of Clovis, NM, departed to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at St. Anthony Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Clovis. The Family will be at Muffley Funeral Home for visitation services Tuesday, April 13, 2010, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Mavis was born October 17, 1946, in Kings Lynn, England. She married Richard Lee Bricker January 17, 1963, in England and they came to Clovis in 1977. She was owner and operator of Endless Trails Antiques. She set the record that still stands today for Shotput in England. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She wrote poetry and contributed articles to the Curry County Times.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Bricker of the home; two daughters, Theresa (Keith) Filzen of Manassas, VA, and Shanon (Danny) Tredway of VA; and son, Richard L. Bricker, Jr. (Shirli) of Ohio; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Harradine of England, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
