Helen Pringle joined our Heavenly Father on January 28, 2014, she was 89 years old. Helen was born November 15, 1924, in Corsica, South Dakota, the oldest of six children to Alvin Henry Putzier and Thelma Eunice Simons. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School May 15, 1942.|
Helen was young and adventurous moving to California where she met and married Sherm Hunt. They exchanged vows October 5, 1947, in Alexandria, South Dakota. Sherm and Helen worked hard and enjoyed life. They settled in their first home in Santee, then moved to a ranch in Lakeside, and eventually moved to a ranch in Ramona. Sherm passed away in May 1981.
Helen worked at the Ramona Coronet. When not working, she liked helping her neighbors and friends.
Helen met and married William (Bill) Pringle September 27, 1986, and resided in Ramona where they enjoyed their retirement and traveled.
Helen is survived by her sister, Arla Mae McClure and many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pringle; parents, Alvin and Thelma Putzier; sister, Glenna Lee Pounds; and three brothers, Lowell Putzier, Roy Putzier and Wayne Putzier.
Family and friends miss her and will keep her in their hearts.
Private family services were held with scattering of ashes.
A memorial plaque will be established at El Camino Memorial Park.
