Fred passed away on December 9, 2013, at Casa de las Campanas after a short illness. He was born May 16, 1934, in Pennsylvania, the oldest of six children. As an Industrial Engineer and Manufacturing Manager he was employed by companies in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and at General Dynamics in San Diego. He loved to play golf and bridge, travel, socialize with family and friends, and read.|
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Benita; son, Stephen and his wife, Millie, of Maryland; son, Douglas and his wife, Carol, of Maryland; daughter, Nicolene and her husband, Donald Parker, of Maryland; grandson, Eric of Maryland; granddaughter, Brittany and her husband, Joshua Parris, of Virginia; brother, Harry and his wife, Karen, of Ohio; brother, Richard of Illinois; sister, Sharyn and her husband, Robert Jones, of Mississippi; and sister, Sandra Page of Mississippi.
We love and miss him dearly. Fred was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
The family held a private memorial service and scattered his remains at sea.
