Not sure what to say?

Dear Family of Mr Gerald Robinson, your Dad was my second Dad and more a Dad then my own! I spent more time and interactions with Mike (son of Mr & Mrs R) at their house and hanging out with the family! The most influential aspect of knowing and having Mr Robinson in my life was MCHS, Chior and Fiddler on the Roof! My Thanks and Great Appreciation for being blessed to have known and for being a very small part of Mr Robinson’s Life and the family and his artful major rolls in my High school year at MCHS! My appreciation and Love will be with me till the day I die and beyond! Thank you Mr R and family for blessing me sooooo much and Thank you God for giving me such people in my life as Mr R and his family!

Annie Oakley here (Judie Ogden Wolfe)sending condolences, but also happy to know that Mr. Robinson had the blessed assurance of Eternal Life promised by Jesus, the Christ of Christianity. The one and only Savior of the World -- to all who would believe. All who believe will be reunited with Gerry. My husband Jim passed into Glory last April 15th. It is pleasing to know that these two dear men will have met at last. Deepest sympathy and regards to Pat and their lovely, large extended family of eight children and their many children. Glory be the God!

My condolences to the entire Robinson family. Mr. Robinson exemplified a caring and dedicated teacher, who guided and nurtured numerous music classes with his music, wit and commitment to the young people of Mt. Clemens High School. He was a mentor to me, providing opportunity to actively use my musical skills and challenging me to develop those skills. I feel privileged to have known him and to have been welcomed into the Robinson family for these many years.

I'm sorry to hear. All of the Robinson Family had a part in my life. Living around the corner, Barb, Joannie, and Elaine babysat my sister and me. Peter and John were school mates. And I knew the rest of you enough to say Hi. And then there was choir! I really can't sing, but that didn't stop me from 4 wonderful years in choir. I owe my love of musical theater to Mr. and Mrs. Robinson. I still reference every show I saw or was in at UMHS. My prayers go out to all of you.

I was always in orchestra, but the choir always looked like so much fun, the stage plays and wanted to be apart of that. Someone told me I would have to sing to mr. Robinson, so I went to him and I was so nervous. He was very kind, I sang and he said ok your in and I said really! I'm sure he didn't tell to many people no, even if I was a terrible singer. Rip and many prayers at this difficult time.

Mr. Robinson gave so many of us the gift of loving and appreciating music. Every time I am invited to come up and sing Handel's Messiah I think of him patiently teaching this to us in his kind, respectful way. Together with Mrs. Robinson at the piano he was a huge blessing to MCHS and the entire community. A beautiful legacy.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Be comforted too with the promise from God at Psalms 37:9-11, 29 that will one day soon, become a reality.

I am so sad about his passing. But I have a lot of fond memories of him. I remember living on Kendrick St. and going over to his house to visit all the kids. He was a very kind man and treated me with respect and kindness too. I learned a lot of very important things in my life and I continue to use them thanks to him. My deepest condolences go to the whole family and he will keep his eyes on all of you. Rest in peace Mr. Robinson!

Dear Robinson Family:
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. When I read the notice in the paper, memories of your family on Kendrick and North Ave. came flooding back.
Your dad was such a sweetheart of a man who had a quiet authority and faith.
May all of you be blessed in the next few days as you gather to remember your husband and father. Love to you all, especially Mrs. Robinson, Mike and Mary.

Love and prayers,
