Judith A. "Judy" Lipstraw
GRAYTOWN: Judith A. "Judy" Lipstraw, 74, of Graytown, Ohio, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on February 2, 1938, the daughter of Glenn V. & Evelyn M. (Franck) Schultz. Judy was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, Ohio, and was a homemaker. She greatly enjoyed cooking and making all kinds of Christmas cookies with her granddaughters, but most importantly, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
On June 15, 1957, she married James Lipstraw, and he survives; also surviving are her sons, Jeff Lipstraw, Columbus, Ohio, Mike (Barb) Lipstraw, Sandusky, and Randall G. Lipstraw, Port Clinton; brothers, Roger (Janet) Schultz and Charles (Karen) Schultz, both of Oak Harbor; and grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberlee, and Emily Lipstraw.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter-in-law, Tina Lipstraw.
Friends and family are invited to call from 2-9 P.M. Tuesday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-5 & 6-9 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2012 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor, with Pastor Debra Domeier officiating. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery.
