James E. "Jim" Dugan, Sr.
PORT CLINTON: James E. "Jim" Dugan, Sr., 57, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Thursday, February 07, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 16, 1955 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of John B. and Sophie C. (Bevens) Dugan. On October 16, 1976 he married Paula Mackey and she survives.
Jim worked at the former Standard Products in Port Clinton, Kelsey Hayes in Fremont, Ohio and the former Brush Wellman, now Materion in Elmore. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, fixing cars, and playing the guitar, especially bluegrass music.
Survivors include his wife: Paula; daughters: Terri (Bill) Niceswanger, Port Clinton, Vicki (John) McCaffery, Columbus, Ohio, and Stacy Hughes, Oak Harbor; sons: James Dugan, Jr., Huron, Ohio, and Jason Dugan, Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren: Heather, Melissa, Sean, Kelsey, Lisa, Noah, Christopher, Michaela, and Jenna; great-grandchildren: Serenity and Hunter; his mom: Sophie, Garrison, Kentucky; sisters: Bonnie Ellithorpe, Vanceburg, Kentucky, Brenda (Les) Rister, Oak Harbor, and Marylin Parker, Port Clinton; brothers: John Dugan, Garrison, Kentucky and Paul (Diane) Dugan, Port Clinton; mother-in-law: Edna Mackey; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: John and father-in-law: Paul Mackey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 10am with Pastor Jimmy Comstock officiating. Burial will follow in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
