Albert C. Boss
GRAYTOWN: Albert C. Boss, 75, of Graytown, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. He was born near Graytown on October 17, 1936, a son of Albert C. and Agnes (Epling) Boss.
Al was a lifelong farmer and was retired from Ackling Stamping. He attended Zion United Methodist Church, Elliston, his entire life. On March 15, 1958, he married the former Wynonia Bath, and she survives.
Also surviving are their children, DuWain (Angie) Boss, New Palestine, Indiana, Darling (Charles) Mensing, Martin, Ohio, and Davina (Dale) Gulau, Graytown, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Glen (Kathy) Boss, Port Clinton, Ohio; sister, Jane (Donald) Chime, Sandusky, Ohio; brother-in-law, Frank Grahl, Martin, Ohio, and sister-in-law, Donna Serviss, Walbridge, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, June Grahl.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 P.M. Sunday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 West State Route 51. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, Elliston, with Rev. Lawrence A. Keeler, and Pastor Joe Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leist Scholarship Fund of Zion Church or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Following the interment services, a luncheon will be held for family and friends at Zion United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be shared with Al's family at www.crosserfuneralhome.com.
