Barbara Jean (Petersen) Bailey
PORT CLINTON: Barbara Jean (Petersen) Bailey passed away on August 3, 2012 at her home with her family. She was born on March 9, 1931, the daughter of Stensen and Frances (Vollmer) Petersen of Port Clinton who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother, Lowell S. (Elaine) Petersen of Port Clinton; her children, Kristen Bailey (Michael) Abney of Port Clinton, Eric (Teri) Bailey of Dallas, TX, and Gretchen Bailey and Brian Zydiak of Culver City, CA; and her grandchildren, Charlotte Abney of Washington, DC, Kevin Abney of Brooklyn, NY, Christopher, Jonathan, Michael and Erica Bailey of Dallas Texas, and Per and Cameron Bailey-Zydiak of Culver City, CA.
The family will have calling hours on August 18 at Barbara's home on Second St. Barbara generously donated her body to the University of Toledo Medical Center in order to improve and save the lives of others with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested that donations be made to the Ottawa County Historical Museum.
