Richard Anthony Greunke
DETROIT, MI: Richard A. Greunke was born March 14, 1966, in Toledo, Ohio, and went to his heavenly home suddenly on Sunday, July 29, 2012, in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Meadowvale Elementary School in Trilby, Ohio, and graduated from Springfield High School in Holland, Ohio, in 1984. Richard had worked for Chrysler Jeep from 1986, first at Jeep Toledo and until the present time at Chrysler Jefferson North in Detroit.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Greunke; grandparents, Ben and Margaret Good, grandfather, Harold Greunke; and brother, Lee Greunke.
He is survived by his grandmother, Fern Greunke of Naples, FL; father, Meryl (Marilyn) Greunke; brother, Daniel (Regina) Greunke; step mother, Beverly Greunke; step sister, Heidi Notestine; and his devoted companion, Kathy Obrien from Algonac, MI.
Richard was a tireless worker and displayed a kind and helpful presence wherever he went. His loving spirit will never be forgotten!
A private funeral service will be conducted for the family, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends with burial in Elliston Cemetery, Graytown, Ohio. Friends may express their affection and sympathy to Richard's memory at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
Memorials for Richard may be directed to your local food pantry or to the donor's choice. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430, has assisted the family with arrangements.
