Richard L. Steinman
formerly of Oak Harbor and Port Clinton: Age 86, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born June 23, 1931 in Piqua, OH to the late Burnell & Dottie (Patrick) Steinman. He was a graduate of Piqua High School and a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. He worked for Firelands Security as a security guard.
Survivors include his sons, Ronald (Michele) Steinman of Oak Harbor, OH and Ted (Karen) Steinman of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren: Jodi (Peter) Cole of Carey, OH and Kevin (Emily) Steinman of Sylvania, OH; great- grandchildren Samuel and Piper Cole; sister Wanda (Donald) Barbee of Conover, OH; former wife Lois Kincaid of Fairbanks, Alaska; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother- in- law Eleanor & Jim Burns, and former wife Mary Bellman.
Funeral Services will begin at noon on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel where the family will receive friends beginning at 11am. Burial will be in Rusha Cemetery, Carroll Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Sorry to hear about your loss. I have lots of memories of him when he would come to Erie to visit my grandma and my mom. He was a very nice man.
