Abbott, Norman - Wheelersburg  
NORMAN ABBOTT WHEELERSBURG—Norman Ray Abbott, 76, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the SOMC Hospice Center, Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born on June 20, 1938 in Friendship, Ohio to the late Tracy and Carrie Craycraft Abbott. He was united in marriage on June 15, 1958 to Naomi R. Brown Abbott, who survives. Also are his daughter, Becky Wynn and husband Daryl of Wheelersburg; two sisters, Shirley Grooms and husband Harry of New Lebanon, Ohio and Donna Postole and husband Winson of West Union; a sister-in-law, Mary Abbott of Dayton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Abbott was retired from the Custom Steel in Wurtland, KY, a member of the Beech Fork Church, and a U.S. Army Korean Veteran. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Beech Fork Church, with Pastor Debbie Baer officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Veterans Cemetery Northeast. GENEVA F. ANDERSON MOUTN VERNON — Geneva F. Anderson, 90 of Mount Vernon, Ohio died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Country Club Retirement Center in Mount Vernon. She was born June 17, 1924, in Vanceburg, Ky. to the late Will and Nancy Evans Neal. Along with her parents Geneva was preceded in death by her husband Charles O. Anderson, three brothers and one sister. Geneva is survived by 10 children; Trudy Hendrix of Clyde, Charles Anderson of Mount Orab, Diane Johnson of Vickery, Patricia Cook of Raymond, Glenn Anderson of Peebles, Garland Anderson of Indiahoma, Okla., Nancy Holsinger of Stout, Tammy Horner of Hinesville, Ga., Terry Anderson of Otway and Rebecca Reichy of Chillicothe, 29 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 5 gt gt grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in McKendree Cemetery.
