Bashford, Garey - Ashtabula  
GAREY LEE BASHFORD ASHTABULA — Garey Lee Bashford, 68, of Ashtabula, Ohio, died Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Jefferson Health Care Center in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was born Jan. 21, 1947, in Portsmouth to the late Richard Emory Bashford and Dorothy Elizabeth Gifford Bashford. He was an Air Force veteran. He is survived by a son, Garey Bashford, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister, Jo Ann (Daniel) Bashford O'Connor of Portsmouth; three brothers, John R. Bashford of Madisonville, Tenn., Edward L. (Paula) Bashford of Alliance, Neb., and Terry R. Bashford (Susan) of Bristow, Va. He is also survived by friends with whom he made is home for the past several years, Frank and Sandee Boylen of Ashtabula. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth.

Boggs, Donald - South Shore  
DONALD BOGGS Donald Paul Boggs, 79, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away June 24, 2015 in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born in Scioto County, Ohio, Jan. 4, 1936, a son of the late James Boggs and Sadie Fox Boggs, retired Carman for CSX Railroad. Surviving are his wife, Patty Traylor Boggs; two sons, Jeff "Melanie" Boggs, Mark "Yvette" Boggs both of South Shore, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Kayla Boggs; two great-grandchildren, Reanna Boggs and C.J. Boggs; and one sister, Gail Howland of South Shore, Kentucky. Preceded in death by two brothers, James Boggs and Albert Boggs; and one sister, Zelma Hoffer. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Robert Thompson, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 and from 11 a.m. till funeral hour on Saturday. Bolin, Donald W.  
DONALD W. BOLIN Donald W. Bolin, 89, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 in Columbus, OH. Donald was born on January 1, 1926 in New Boston, OH to Bernard and Oniska Minah Bolin. Donald is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 54 years, Christina Smith-Bolin; three half-brothers, Lowell Morris, Michael "Mike" Morris, and Charles Bolin; and two half-sisters, Lucy Bolin-Brown and Beulah Bolin-Preston. He is survived by his sister, Betty Lou Sexton (Donald); numerous nieces and nephews with special nephew, Ty Morris; and special friends, Deborah Ferruccio, Betsy Smith, and Nita Poulson. Donald was a Sergeant in WWII. He later became an English teacher at Columbus Public Schools. He taught at Linden-McKinley High School and completed his career at Clinton Junior High. He loved to write poetry as a hobby, and had numerous writings published. Donald was a member of the Free Masons, Linden Lodge No. 637 and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 12:00pm at Memorial Burial Park, 10556 Gallia Pike Wheelersburg, OH 45694. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com .
