Gerald L. Boyles, 75, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away April 11, 2014. He was born in South Shore, Kentucky, April 24, 1938, a son of the late Carl and Evelyn McCallister Boyles. He was retired from North American Refractory.
Preceding him in death were one stepson, Phillip Logan; and two sisters, Peggy Derback and Phyllis Thoroughman.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanie Boyles; two daughters, Angie (Steve) Armstrong of Hampton, Va., and Terry Williams of Wilmington, N.C.; one son, Timothy (Marilyn) Boyles of Piketon, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Sherry (Pat) McGuire of South Shore, Ky.; stepson, David (Sabrina) Logan of Tollesboro, Ky.; two brothers,Clyde (Elinda) Boyles of South Shore, Ky., and Carl Dean (Joann) Boyles of Chesapeake, Va.; three sisters, Kathy (Bill) Conn and Janice Boyles, both of South Shore, Ky., and Louise (Don) Barnhart of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Mt. Zion Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky, with Rev. Cline McCallister officiating. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, are in charge of arrangements.
The family would like to thank the South Shore Volunteer Fire Dept., Police Dept., The Kentucky State Police, Sheriff Dept., and the people of South Shore, Kentucky, and the community for all they have done for the family.
