Louvinda Stanley


WHEELERSBURG – Louvinda Lorean Stanley, 93, of Wheelersburg, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014, at her residence. She was born September 21, 1920, in Wheelersburg to the late Edward C. McHenry and Zelma Pollard McHenry. She was a retired teacher from South Webster School System and Green School System.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda Stanley Harris, Nancy Jane Kirk and Norma Ann McCoy; one brother, Emil McHenry; three sisters, Catherine Carney, Shirley Chick, and Virginia Steed; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl T. Stanley; a son Richard ; three brothers, Carl, Richard and Howard McHenry; and one sister, Carolyn Herer.

Friends may call at HARRISON-PYLES FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, with services to follow at 8 p.m. Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Burial Park.
