Marvaline Hobson


Marvaline Virginia (Evans) Hobson, 83, of Minford, went peacefully to be with the Lord and her recently deceased beloved husband, Homer, on Monday, January 27, 2014, at her residence. Born October 9, 1930, in New Market, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Ida Bell (Spray) Evans.

She is survived by two sons, James (Sharon) Hobson and David (Teri) Hobson; one daughter, Pamela (Constantine) Ungurean; three grandsons, James Hobson, Christopher Hobson and Derik Hobson; three granddaughters, Karla (Kevin) King, Brynn (Ryan) Hanson, and Kristyn Hobson; and one great- grandson, Braxton Hanson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Hobson Nibert; five brothers, James L. Evans, Henry L. Evans, Lehman Evans, George L. Evans and Luther Evans; and one sister, Anna Myrtle (Evans) Roberts.

Family and friends will be welcomed at a gathering at the convenience of the family for a celebration of the lives of Marvaline and Homer Hobson. Please contact Karla King at for information.
