WHEELERSBURG – Nannie Francis Ferguson Mason, 83, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Community Hospice in Ashland, Ky. She was born December 9, 1930, in Relief, Ky., a daughter of the late Rev. Addie and Rissie Ferguson. She was a homemaker and seamstress and a member of the Union Free Will Baptist Church for 37 years.
Nannie is survived by her husband, Lloyd Jessie Mason, whom she married March 3, 1948 in Isonville, Ky. Also surviving are a daughter, Theresa Mason (John) Chesmar of South Webster, Ohio; a grandson, Nathan (Erica) Booth of Delaware, Ohio; a granddaughter, Terra Booth (Beat) Niederoest of Medford Lakes, N.J.; three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Amanda and Matthew Booth; and a sister, Ella Mae Ferguson Mason of Sandy Hook, Ky. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Vonley, Lowell, Jay, Raymond and Emerson Ferguson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Union Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
