DAYTON – Rebecca Sager Ralph died peacefully on December 2, 2013, at Hospice of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Reverend H. Wiley Ralph, and sister Hilda Sager Robertson. "Becky" was born on May 31, 1924, in Woodstock, Virginia, to Bess Seibert Sager and W.D. Sager. While attending Roanoke College, in Salem, Virginia, she met Wiley, whom she married in 1946 shortly after her college graduation. They began their married life while Wiley was a student at Virginia Theological Seminary and Becky financially supported the newlyweds. Upon Wiley's graduation from Seminary in 1951, Becky began her life as a minister's wife, which started in Delaware City, Delaware, and included moves to Wilmington, Delaware, Portsmouth and Wyoming, Ohio and finally, retirement in Lebanon, Ohio, in 1986.
She is survived by four daughters, Sarah of Delaplane, Virginia, Susan of Dayton, Ohio, Sandra of Cleveland, Ohio, and Stephanie of Springfield, Virginia; a sister-in-law, Colleen Purpur of Seaford Delaware; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, who remember her as an energetic and outgoing grandmother.

A memorial service will be held on March 22, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at Church of the Ascension and Holy Trinity, Wyoming Ohio. Arrangements by The Westbrock Funeral Home of Dayton.
