EUGENE BRAGDON

WHEELERSBURG-Eugene "Gene" Bragdon age 80, of Wheelersburg, passed away on July 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1933 in Portsmouth to Stanley and Pauline Bragdon and was a painter by trade. Gene enjoyed flea markets and loved viewing and working on old cars. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lucasville.

He is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Orville) Ramey of Lucasville; three grandchildren, Gina Dyer of Lucasville, Scott Altman (Marinda) of Piketon, Nicholas Altman of Lucasville; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Altman of Portsmouth, Landin Altman of Piketon; special friend, Ricca Felty of Greenup, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice, and one sister, Frances Munson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville. Interment will follow in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Military honors will be provided by American Legion James Dickey Post #23. Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
