EARL GALLOWAY, 62
WEST PORTSMOUTH – Earl Stanley "Muggs" Galloway, 62 of West Portsmouth, died Monday, February 17, 2014, at SOMC Hospice. He was born January 20, 1952, in Portsmouth to the late Caney and Onida Adams Galloway. He was a 1970 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and was a retired Pipefitter. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 421 of Charleston, S.C. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 762, Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Boston and The Sons of American Legion, Post 471.
Along with his parents Earl was preceded in death by a brother Steve Galloway, and a sister Mary Lockhart.
Earl is survived by three daughters, Sharon Galloway of Columbus, Michelle Galloway of Kentucky and Stacey Brown of Firebrick, Ky.; four brothers, John Galloway of Norwalk, Clay Galloway of California, Orville Galloway of West Portsmouth and Dave Galloway of Florida; two sisters, Anna Owens of New Boston and Susie Galloway of Norwalk; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Mike Davis officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11 a.m.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Earl's name.
