JOHN EUTON
McDERMOTT—Pastor John Euton, Jr., 87, of McDermott, Ohio, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born February 28, 1928 to the late Johnnie and Ocie Coleman Euton in Sugar Grove, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Vivian Eve Crabtree Euton on October 26, 2009. He was also preceded in death by four sisters, Edna Mae Euton, Lucille Brown, Jewell Euton, and Rachel Walker.
Surviving are six children, Diana (Edwin) Koch of McDermott, John Randall (Sandy) Euton of Rarden, Michael (Linda) Gullett of Kansas, Cathy (Gary) Brown of Otway, Candace Schoonover of Columbus, and Brenda (Gary) Asche of Wheelersburg; twelve grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Johnny was Veteran with the U.S. Navy, a retired truck driver, and a Pastor in the church of the Nazarene. His pastorate included Rosemount, South Shore, and the majority of his 39 years at Rarden. He also sang base for the Sunrise Quartet and the Euton Family.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday April 28, 2015 at the Rarden Nazarene Church with Jason Koch and Larry Windle officiating. Burial will follow in the Scioto Burial Park with Military Graveside services conducted by American Legion-Wm. A. Baker Post 363. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway and Tuesday from noon- to 1 p.m. at the church.

So sorry for your loss. Bro Johnny was always very good to our family. He married me and my husband 02/12/84. Ever since that date Bro Johnny would always greet us with a smile and ask how we were doing. What a great gain for heaven.
