SCIOTOVILLE – Bette Lou Cottle, 85, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, February 27, 2014, at Minford Retirement Center. Born on September 20, 1928, in Scioto County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Chessie Brown Graham and was a member of First Church of Christ on Dogwood Ridge Road. Bette was a graduate of East High School and former office manager for Orland Leadingham Studio.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Clay Cottle; her brother, Robert Graham; and a nephew, Jim Graham.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Clay (Linda) Cottle of Portsmouth; two granddaughters, Lacey (Jonathan) Robles and Lindsay (Thomas) McKinney; a great-grandson, Levi Robles; and a special niece, Lou Anne Ruggles.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Randy Wickham, minister, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Brant's from 10 until 11 a.m. on Monday.
