Otto Collins, 84
Otto Collins 84, of Portsmouth, Ohio, died Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Riverside hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born March 8, 1929, to the late Shell and Eva Whitaker Collins. Otto was an ordained minister and a former long-time employee of the Portsmouth Casting company. Along with his parents Otto was preceded in death by five sisters, Okie (Collins) Spencer, Opal Pearl (Elizabeth) Fraley, Oma Spencer, Ocie Puckett and Ogie.
Otto is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred (Spencer) Collins; a son, Otto Collins of Columbus; a daughter, Ruth Ann Scott also of Columbus; three grandchildren, Steven Collins, Robert Scott and Timothy Scott; and two brothers, Ollie Collins of Toledo and Raleigh Collins of Paintsville, Ky.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2013, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
