BASCIL WINES

WHEELERSBURG – Bascil Nile Wines, 82, of Wheelersburg, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at his place of residence. Born on January 14, 1932, in Coolville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Hazel Marie Wines Williams and the grandson of Ralph and Ethel Wines. Bascil was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. He was an employee at The Standard Oil Company of Ohio and Autoworks in Wheelersburg.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Jessie Jeffers Wines, who he married on June 8, 1951 in Vinton County, OH; and two special uncles, Bill and James Wines.

Bascil is survived by two sons, Keith (Tammy) Wines of Wheelersburg and Kevin Nile Wines (Kent A. Phillips) of Granville; one daughter, Denise Wines of Delaware, OH; one brother, Kenneth Wines of Texas; one sister, Ethel M. Austin of Alabama; four grandchildren, Chad Wines, Sheree (Paul) Huebner, Tiffany (Josh Conschafsky) Cottle and Paige (Josh Lemaster) Wines; and nine great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Brayleigh and Brady Wines, Shilah and Madison Huebner, Braxton, Kadence and Preston Conschafsky and Carson Lemaster.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at the SWICK-BUSSA-CHAMBERLIN FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Rev. Stephen J. Cuff officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.
