LUCASVILLE – Letha Mae Caldwell, 94, of Lucasville, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at Bridgeport Health Care in Portsmouth.

She was born July 6, 1919, at Clifford, Ohio, a daughter of the late Link and Didama Crabtree Crabtree. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lucasville Church of Christ in Christian Union.

She is survived by two daughters, Lois (Fred) Duncan of Marysville, CA, and Loretta Gregory of Lucasville; two sons, Frank Caldwell of Midland, MI, and Ron (Jackie) Caldwell of Lucasville; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Crabtree of Lucasville; and three sisters, Minta Kinney of West Portsmouth, Ruby Archey of Galloway, and Barbara Newton of Sugar Grove, Ohio.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tadgie Caldwell, Nov. 25, 1983; one great-great-grandson; one brother, John Clifford Crabtree; four sisters, Louise Ferguson, Zelma Fairchild, Dorothy Pitts, and Carolyn Archey.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2014, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with John Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Cemetery on Cockrell's Run. Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and an hour before the funeral Monday at the funeral home.
