JOHN MINZELLI

MINFORD-John T. Minzelli, 77, of Minford, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. Born May 8, 1937 in Portsmouth, son of the late Gimmie and Fannie Marie Traylor Minzelli, he was retired from Chrysler Corp. and Ohio Department of Transportation, he was a member of American Legion Post 23, 40 & 8, Sons of the American Legion, Lucasville Masonic Lodge, New Boston Eagles, Loyal Order of Moose #320 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Cantrell) Minzelli; two sons, Chuck (Debbie) Turner of Lucasville, Jim (Brenda) Minzelli of Minford; one daughter, Rhonda (Mick) Adkins of Lucasville; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Ann L. Bobanich of Lancaster and Betty (Luther) Burchett of Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Regina McClain and Katherine Walker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Kenny Estep officiating. Burial will be in Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
