LAKE WORTH- Judith Roush, 60, of Lake Worth, Florida, a former Wheelersburg, Ohio, resident, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at Bethesda Medical Hospice Unit, Boynton Beach, Florida. Judith was born October 10, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Bernard Robert Stout and Julia Ann Lenahan Stout. Judith was a high school graduate of Notre Dame High School in Portsmouth, Ohio, and worked as a beautician throughout Scioto County. In 2013 she moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where she attended Costal Chapel.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Roush, serving in the US Navy in St. Mary's, Georgia; one daughter, Rebecca (David) Shelpman of Lake Worth, Florida; one grandchild, Chandler Shelpman; one sister, Phyllis (David) Bates of Columbus, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Brian (Gail) Roush of Michigan; and nephews and nieces, Kelli, Bryan, Robby, Jennifer, Samantha and Parker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Douglas Roush on October 11, 2010, and one brother, Bernard Robert Stout, Jr.
Judith loved helping others, being with family and friends and serving the Lord. She was a joy to be around.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Daehlers.
