NEW BOSTON — Mildred Hiles, 80, of New Boston, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at home. Born on March 27, 1934 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late John Morrow and Mary Carter Hardin and was a homemaker.
Surviving are four sons, Bob (Karen) Morrow of Wheelersburg, Loren (Susie) Hardin of Portsmouth, Perry Hiles of New Boston, and Keith (Charon) Hiles of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Mary Hiles of Sharpsville, PA; a sister, Daisy Cottle of Sciotoville; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death were a son, Tony Hiles, two brothers, Don and Eddie Morrow, and two sisters, Violet Haney and Rita Burt.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Bob Morrow officiating. Interment will be in Owl Creek Cemetery.
