MURPHYSBORO-Nicholas (Nick) Miller, 60 passed away in his home in Murphysboro, IL., on June 30, 2014. Nick was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on Dec. 24th, 1953.
He grew up in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. He was surrounded by a large, loving family. He lived a large portion of his adult life in Elgin, IL. Nick was a truck driver all his life and worked until about a month before his death. Nicks greatest joy were his cats. They were like his children.
Nick is survived by sisters, Judy Daugherty of Genoa, IL., Dawn Thompson (husband Dan) of Franklin Furnace, Oh., Paulette Boggs of Franklin Furnace, Oh., Rosy Mullins (husband Chip) of Mansfield, Oh. And brothers, Robert E. Miller (wife Carolyn), Wayne Miller, Tx. , David Miller (wife Mary) of Crown Point, In., Mike Miller of Franklin Furnace, Oh.
He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, Robert and Beulah (Peg) Miller, brother Jack Miller, sister Joyce Craig. Nephews Johnny Miller and Allen Clifton. Nieces Lovetta and Lisa.
Nick was survived by many nieces and nephews.
Nicks positive attitude and contagious smile will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg on Saturday, July 19 from 1-3. Followed by food at the Golden Coral in New Boston. Come join us to celebrate Nicks Life.
