REYNOLDSBURG— Nancy Lou Traylor, age 74, long-time resident of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, entered into eternal peace with her Lord and Savior on August 18, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital under hospice care. Nancy was born October 13, 1939 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Willie E. Blackburn and Lena May Caudill. She and her husband, Nolan R. Traylor, moved to Reynoldsburg in 1960 where they worked and raised their family. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. Nancy retired from Mt. Carmel East Hospital as secretary to the Women's Health Center. She was blessed with wonderful people skills and was just simply a special person. Every now and then someone like her comes along, but not very often. She will be missed but not forgotten by friends and family. Nancy was baptized and became a member of East Side Grace Brethren Church in 1980 and has been a faithful child of God and student of the Bible for most of her life. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers Donald and Rickey Blackburn. Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Nolan R. Traylor; son Jeffrey S. Traylor; daughter Linda R. Massey; son-in-law William L. Massey; granddaughter Taylor L. Massey; brother and sister-in-law Franklin D. and Eileen Blackburn; sisters-in-law Leona Blackburn and Sharon (William) Webb; and a host of other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Mt. Carmel Hospice for their high degree of skills and compassion in caring for Nancy and family, and special recognition to all the staff at Mt. Carmel East Hospital and the many close friends who made Nancy's journey so much easier. Family will receive friends and relatives 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Dress as you wish, and join us in honoring a life well-lived. Private graveside service for family and close friends at Silent Home Cemetery in Reynoldsburg.
