Raymond P. Kyle, 63
Raymond Patrick Kyle, 63, of West Portsmouth, died Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Born March 29, 1950, in Marlington, West Virginia, son of the late William Lawrence Kyle Jr. and Marie Daniels Kyle, he was a graduate of Minford High School in the Class of 1969. He was a retired Federal Prison Guard, was currently employed by Buckeye Social Services, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Wetzel Kyle; one son, Bill Kyle of Minford; one daughter, Kim Bradbury of Athens; former wife, Susan Kyle of Beaver; two stepsons, Robert Wetzel and Philip D. Berger Jr.; two stepdaughters, Pamela Webb and Theresa James; two grandchildren, Haley Kyle and Allison Bradbury; seven stepgrandchildren, and 2 stepgreat-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Wayne Kyle.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2013, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with James Benner officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

I worked with Ray at SOCF and Ashland FCI. We rode together back and forth from Ashland when on the same shift. Ray always kept me laughing. I was so fond of him and my heart goes out to his family. RIP good friend.
