VICTORY, TEXAS — Robert Otis Wallace, 71, of Victoria, Texas, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center's Emergency Room.
He was born Dec. 1, 1942, in Portsmouth, Ohio a son of the late Robert Edward and Verna Mullins Wallace.
Bob was the Director of Special Projects for Formosa Plastics Corp. Texas, and a member of the Port Lavaca Noon Day Rotary Club. He was a 1961 Valley High School graduate and a University of Cincinnati graduate receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Marie Perry Wallace, whom he married Oct. 3, 1964 in Lucasville; one son, Jason Matthew Wallace of Victoria, Texas; two brothers, Jim (Judy) Wallace of Wheelersburg and Danny (Terri) Wallace of Portsmouth; one sister, Patty Skaggs of Portsmouth; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Floyd "Skip" Wallace.
Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville where a brief memorial will follow. A memorial service will be held in Texas at a later date.
